Diabetes Canada A Healthy Banquet Series

Diabetes Canada chose to host a series of healthy banquets in the Vancouver surrounding areas. Guests enjoy a unique educational and culinary experience as dieticians work alongside chefs to put a healthy spin on a traditional South Asian banquet, while learning how small changes can have a positive impact on their health. The prevalence of diabetes in the South Asian community occurs more frequently than any other demographic group and it continues to rise. That’s why Diabetes Canada, in partnership with Cities Changing Diabetes, is hosting these events.
